1. “Dynamite” covered by Alex Goot
Alex Goot fits the very definition of a one-man band. In this video, he sings, plays piano, drums, a box, keyboard and guitar (both electric and acoustic) alone. His other songs are all equally spectacular, not only by the amount of instruments he is playing, but by the overall quality.
2. “Paparazzi” covered by Greyson Chance
This is mega pop hit covered by a sixth grader with major pipes. While his piano playing and his singing are both extraordinary, one of the best parts is watching the auditorium burst into applause after he finishes.
3. “Hey Ya” covered by Obadiah Parker
This acoustic version of a classic upbeat song makes for a nice change. Parker seems to bring an almost melancholy sense to the song. Even though the singer looks like Zach Galifinakis, the song is worth listening to.
4. “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” covered by Pomplamoose
This cover is what appears to be two friends having a good time rocking out to Beyonce’s hit. The lead singer, Nataly Dawn, has a very innocent sounding voice and adds a new angle to this pop song that was built for dancing.
5. Kids covered by The Kooks
A cover of an already fantastic song done by a renowned British alternative band. The Kooks’ guitars and British accents only add to the song, making this version a must hear.
