Help from our peers: Jeff Kuziel and Bridget Sheridan
The Call asked Jeff Kuziel and Bridget Sheridan, juniors, who have dated for a year and a half, to explain why high schoolers choose to date.
The Kirkwood Call: If you could describe having a relationship in three words what would they be?
Jeff Kuziel: “Very close connection.”
TKC: Why do you think people want to have intimate relationships and date each other?
Bridget Sheridan: “To have people that are there for them, because it’s good to have someone who is there for you.”
TKC: Why do you think people as a whole want to be in a relationship?
JK: “Probably because they enjoy being around each other, it provides a connection with someone that is just as close, if not closer, than a friendship.”
TKC: What does a relationship provide someone with?
BS: “It provides a good friend if the relationship is good, if it’s bad, it will bring on unnecessary stress.”
