KHS goes on lockdown
KHS went on lockdown after a custodian heard a loud crash in the school around 5:50 a.m. and police officers were called in to search the school according to Tom Williams, superintendent.
“The custodian heard a big crash around 5:50, we weren’t sure if it was a burglar or an intruder or a gunshot so they called 911. The police responded immediately and blocked everything off,” Williams said.
According to Williams, the police found no evidence of an intruder or gunshot fired, but they believe the sound may have been a large stack of light bulbs crashing.
School is scheduled to start at 8:50 a.m. with an adjusted schedule.
