This editorial cartoon, titled “School supplies,” brings attention to the serious gun problem in America. I wanted to highlight the issue of school shootings by drawing a gun next to ordinary school supplies. I wanted to do something to bring attention to this issue because it is unfortunately relevant once again. I hope that by seeing this political cartoon that someone may view this gun epidemic as the problem it is. Because kids are dying in the places where they were meant to learn, and nothing is changing.
