When looking for elegant or fun nail polish designs, students often go on the internet to get ideas and tutorials. I looked through numerous nail art tutorials and chose the best designs that don’t consume too much time.
Scrapbook Paper Print: Apply rubbing alcohol to your nails. Press your favorite scrapbook paper on your nails for a few minutes. Peel off the scrapbook paper and voilà!

Newspaper Print: Apply rubbing alcohol to your nails. Press your favorite newspaper on your nails for a few minutes. Peel off and voilà!

Cheetah Print: Have a toothpick handy and cut off the tip of it. Make two separated dots of black and gold on a paper plate. Dip the flat end of the toothpick into the gold dot of nail polish, and apply it to your nails to look like miniature ovals. Dip the flat end of the toothpick into the black dot of the nail polish and outline the gold ovals.

Polka-Dots: Apply a solid color to your nails. Make a dot of another color on a paper plate. Dip a hardware nail’s flat tip in the second color, and press it lightly to your nails.

French Tips: Apply a nude color to your nails. After the first coat dries, add a thin strip of tape 0.5in to 1in from the top of your nail. Paint above the tape white. After the coats dry, gently remove the tape to see straight white lines.

Ombré Stain: Cut a face make-up sponge into a triangle. Apply lines of nail polish on it, starting with the lightest shade of your color and making each line a shade darker than the previous. Dab the sponge, nail polish side down, on your nail lightly, to create a blended ombré look.
