Spring not only brings a wave of new weather but a wardrobe change as well. Spring is a cleansing of the old and the willingness to try something completely new, so new clothes should be on your list for a spring cleansing. Here is a list of the best places for you to shop for a new wardrobe on a budget because as most of us are dependent on parents and minimum wage. We don’t have much money to spare.
1) Forever 21: Forever 21 can feel like a maze when you first walk in due to the large piles clothes strewn around the store. But once you start digging through the stacks, appealing clothes start to appear. They have great deals and their high-wasted shorts and crop shirts can’t be beat.
2) American Eagle: As middle school as this place may seem to some, it’s not at all. Their bright and neon clothes this spring are perfect for warm weekend nights and the specials the store holds are fantastic. Why wouldn’t you want to buy a pair of shorts and get the second pair for only $10?
3) Payless: You wouldn’t believe how cheap a cute pair of wedges could be. Payless in the spring has a new sale almost every week to promote all the new spring trends and shoes coming in and you would be quite unwise to not take advantage of these shoes, most of which cost $15-$25.
4) J.crew: I know what you’re thinking. Sure, J.crew is not the cheapest place to shop, but if you’re a smart shopper you would know their sale sections are unbelievable. If you want to bring a preppy element to your spring wardrobe, this is the place to go. Even their sale section is sometimes on sale. I’ve bought five tops there once for a total of $25, so keep an open mind and visit some expensive places. You never know what kind of deals they have.
5) H&M: This may be an obvious option, but it can’t be left out. This place is the best store for basics, and everyone needs basics in their new spring wardrobes. Not only are their clothes cheap but so are shoes and accessories, which all count as part of your closet.
