The Advanced Drama class will be putting on two one-act plays in the KHS Black Box theatre on Friday, Dec. 13 at 3:30 p.m. The performance titled “Salad and A Tree” features “The Four Hags of the Apocalypse Eat Salad at Their General Meeting”, directed by Aidan Beasley, senior, and “Treed” directed by Maddie Hawes, senior. The class focuses on putting on all aspects of these productions including the work behind the scenes. Cece Herwig, senior, is an actor in “The Four Hags of the Apocalypse Eat Salad at Their General Meeting” and is helping with lights in “Treed.” Herwig said she has enjoyed her experience being a part of the class as she has an environment during the school day where she is surrounded by classmates who share her passion for theatre.

“[Advanced Drama class] is a place where I can relax, be myself and have fun in the middle of the day,” Herwig said. “It’s a really valuable experience with the stress of senior year. ”
