7 traveling tips to pack for your next vacation

Waking up at 6 a.m. just to get patted down at security, then wait another two hours to board a seven hour flight without having eaten anything for breakfast has to be the worst part of traveling. Leaving home for a week or two can be exciting, but it can also be unnecessarily inconvenient. To survive a day (or days) full of travel, here are some tips to make the journey to your final destination a breeze:

Make a list of what you need
Begin packing a few days in advance
Wear comfortable clothes when traveling
Don’t bring any unnecessary items
Research where you are going before you leave
Pack snacks
Charge your phone and other devices
