Strong winds, hail and rain-wrapped tornadoes ripped through Missouri and parts of Illinois late Sunday evening. A tornado was spotted in St. Albans, MO, and the storm caused damage to homes and streets across the storm’s path. As of 10:30 a.m. Ameren reported that more than 40,000 customers are without power. Ameren advises to report and not approach any downed power lines. Storm injuries were reported with some victims being admitted and released from local hospitals. No deaths have been reported as of this time.
