Two KHS students arrested in connection with McDonalds robbery
Daija Mister, 17, and Tailesha Wiggins, 18, KHS seniors, were arrested on suspicion of attempting to rob the Valley Park McDonald’s armed with handguns Saturday, Sept. 14 according to kmov.com.
Wiggins’s boyfriend, Odie L. Peeples, was working at McDonald’s that night to assist Wiggins and Mister in robbing the restaurant.
According to kmov.com, authorities said Peeples then took Mister and Wiggins to the safe and placed all the money inside a bag and handed it to one of the students. The suspects then fled the restaurant without any money after the bag tore from the weight of the coins.
According to The Kirkwood Patch, Peeples, Wiggins and Mister were all charged with first-degree robbery Tuesday, Sept. 24. The Kirkwood Patch said Peeples, Mister and Wiggins are being held in the St. Louis County Justice with a $45,000 bail for Mister and Wiggins and a $65,000 bail for Peeples.
