Families of unaccreditted schools begin enrollment for 2014-15 school year
This school year, KSD welcomed 184 out of approximately 2,200 student transfers from the unaccredited Riverview Gardens and Normandy school districts. Now, students that were unable to transfer last year have begun filling out applications to enroll for the 2014-15 school year. Jan. 13 marked the day when families residing in those two districts could submit applications to have their children transferred into accredited districts. Families that have already transferred will be required to submit an intent to return form if they plan on re-enrolling their child in the KSD. All enrollment applications must be submitted by Feb. 3.
