“Kiss Me, Kate” preview
For the annual 2015 musical, KH Players are putting on a show filled with gambling, betrayal and love. Kiss Me, Kate is about the production of a musical version of William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew, with lead characters Fred Graham as the producer, director and star, and Lilli Vanessi, his ex-wife and leading lady. Fred Graham is played by Ross Rubright, senior, and Lilli Vanessi is played by Cara Palombo, sophomore. The pair, along with the rest of the cast, will perform this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (April 16-18) 7 p.m. each night in the Keating Theater. Tiffany Jordan, sophomore, worked on costumes for the production.
“Everyone should come see Kiss Me, Kate because it’s a really interesting show and it has some pretty diverse characters,” Jordan said. “It’s really interesting how [the show] unfolds.”
