Enterprise Center implements new clear bag policy
More stories from Ally Ortmann
If you are planning to attend a St. Louis Blues’ hockey game or a concert held at the Enterprise Center this year, you better leave that Valentino white bag at home. Following an increase in policy changes at sporting and event centers across the nation–such as the NFL banning large non-clear bags at all stadiums–the Enterprise Center, home to the St. Louis Blues’ and used as a concert venue, has implemented a new clear bag policy. According to the official Enterprise Center website, visitors “are encouraged to not bring bags,” however, those who do must bring bags like the following:
-Bags–this includes fanny packs and backpacks–which are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12″.
-One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
-Wallets, small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap and does not exceed 4.5” x 6.5”.
-Diaper bags (with child) after inspection.
-An exception will be made for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag, after proper inspection.
This policy went into effect Sept. 3 during the John Mayer concert. Enterprise Center is helping visitors adjust to this policy by having opportunities to purchase clear, acceptable bags outside of entrance gates. Click for an events schedule at the Enterprise Center.
