For the past 14 years, the Kardashian-Jenner family has graced our screens every Sunday night with their infamous reality show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” (KUWTK). The series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the chaotic lives of the millionaire family. With the 20th and final season of the series airing March 18, it’s time to take a trip down memory lane and look back on the best KUWTK moments. 

   1. Khloé Kardashian goes to Jail (Season 3, Episode 1)

After getting a DUI and violating her probation, Khloé Kardashian was required to serve a 30-day prison sentence. On the way to jail, Khloé is accompanied by her mother, Kris Jenner, and sister, Kim Kardashian. This is where the seemingly grim story gets good. Since Kim is the queen of selfies, she never passes up an opportunity to snap a picture of herself, even if she’s on her way to drop her sister off at prison. So that’s exactly what she did. Annoyed by the continuous flash of the camera, Kris gives one of her most iconic lines: “Kim, would you stop taking pictures of yourself? Your sister is going to jail!” I mean, it wasn’t like it was the last time Kim would see her sister, because three hours later, Khloé was released from prison due to overcrowding issues.

   2. Kim’s Lost Earring (Season 6, Episode 11)

In 2011, the Kardashian-Jenner family went to Bora Bora for their annual family vacation. This trip included a new addition: Kim’s new boyfriend at the time, professional basketball player Kris Humphries. Looking to add a bit of fun, Humphries threw Kim into the ocean near their overwater cabana. The two shared a laugh, until Kim realized one of her $75,000 earrings was missing. This led to the major freak out and hysterical crying we have all come to know and love. She gets out of the water and runs to her sister, Kourtney, who is annoyed by Kim’s overreaction and tries to bring her back to Earth by saying, “Kim, there’s people that are dying.” Luckily, younger sister Kylie Jenner came to the rescue and retrieved the sparkling earring from the ocean floor. 

   3. Kris’ Swollen Lip (Season 7, Episode 7)

It seems like someone in the Kardashian-Jenner family always has a hard time on a family trip, and during their vacation to the Dominican Republic, Kris struggled the most. First, she broke her toe after being dragged into a pool as a prank by her two youngest daughters, Kendall and Kylie. A few days after her toe injury, Kris woke up to her top lip swollen for an unknown reason. Confused, Kris called her kids to her hotel room to console her. Instead of providing comfort, Kris was accused of getting plastic surgery on her lips overnight and compared to cartoon character “Daffy Duck” by Kim. The cause of swelling has never been confirmed, though it was likely a reaction to something Kris ate. 

   4. Family Impersonations (Season 17, Episode 12)

The Kardashians tend to have family dinner frequently, so to spice up their meal, momager (mom and manager) Kris suggested everyone dress up as one another. The whole family loved the idea, and the result was fantastic. Here’s the breakdown: Khloé dressed up as Kris, Kris as Khloé, Kendall as Kylie, Kourtney as Kim and Kim as Kourtney. The women had a great night taking jabs at each other’s personality and style. Kim called out Kourtney for always blaming her kids as the reason she’s often late, and Khloé suggested Kylie was Kris’ favorite child because she makes the most money.

   5. Kim and Kourtney’s Big Fight (Season 18, Episode 1)

In the more recent seasons, Kim has repeatedly criticized Kourtney for not working as hard and being as dedicated to work as the other sisters. The tension between the two continued to build up until Kourtney couldn’t handle the verbal attacks anymore. She went over to Kim and shoved her, which prompted Kim to place hands on Kourtney. I have to be honest, I didn’t think the Kardashians had this much fight in them, but boy was I wrong. The sisters repeatedly kicked, slapped and punched each other until Khloé separated them.

Unfortunately, only one season remains for more memorable moments to be made on the show. With that being said, I doubt this will be the last time the Kardashians appear on our screens, as the family just signed a new multi-year deal with popular streaming service Hulu.
