Dupes to your favorite products

If you’re anything like me, you don’t care about the name on the tag, but rather the quality of the product: Hi, let’s be friends. Here are some alternatives to popular yet overpriced items I think you’d like.

Lululemon align leggings

Thao-Vi Do

A staple in every Lulu girl’s closet are the black Align leggings, which retail for roughly $100.

Lululemon Align Leggings:  If you’ve ever met a Lulu girl, I’m sorry. They consist of snobby middle school girls, whose wardrobes are full of overpriced athleisure that their parents bought them for Christmas. A staple in every Lulu girl’s closet are the black Align leggings, which retail for roughly $100. I can think of a million other ways to spend that kind of money.

My favorite Lululemon dupe is the CRZ YOGA workout leggings on Amazon. They have seven sizes, 52 colors, multiple Lulu inspired patterns and cost $26. These leggings are breathable and easy to move around in. My pair of CRZ YOGA leggings feel the closest I’ve seen to any Lulu leggings. Trust me, I’m not going to recommend you poor quality.

Jordan 1’s

They’re classic, and can be paired with just about any outfit.

Jordan 1’s: Nike’s Jordan 1’s have been around since the mid eighties. They’re classic, and can be paired with just about any outfit. The amount of color combos, vintage, limited edition and custom Jordan’s are endless, making it almost impossible to count up your options. Most people say they invest in designer products because they are “high quality,” but let’s be honest, it’s the name you’re investing in. Jordan’s are nice quality, but they’re not invincible. Give it some time and you’ll see their wears and tears just like any other shoe.

If you would like to purchase a pair of Jordan 1’s without breaking the bank, I would recommend checking out DHGate. They are a massive website which allows sellers to sell bulk products. You can mainly find look-alikes to popular products, which depending on the seller can be an absolute steal. They may take some time to come in the mail, but are worth it in the end. After reading the reviews, I will be adding these to my wishlist.

Drybar roundbrush

I discovered the Revlon round brush hair dryer and immediately knew I needed it.

Drybar Roundbrush: This past summer, I fell in love while scrolling through my TikTok “ForYou page.” Every girl’s hair looked like a seventies princess and I was obsessed. Whenever I searched for hair blowout tutorials, ads for the “Dyson Air Wrap” or “Drybar The Double Shot Oval Blow Dryer Brush” would infect my feed. After realizing those hair products ranged from $155-$600, I decided to do some research. I discovered the Revlon round brush hair dryer and immediately knew I needed it.

It is amazing. Not only does it dry my long, thick hair quicker than any other blow dryer I’ve used, but it has the ability to give me the TikTok inspired blowout. I rewatched the hair tutorials but replaced their expensive hair tools with my new affordable one. 10/10 would recommend.

Ray ban’s

I immediately ran to the Ray Ban website to find a plethora of chiq shades.

Ray Ban’s: After watching the new Top Gun movie, I needed a pair of aviator sunglasses to look like Mr. Maverick himself. I immediately ran to the Ray Ban website to find a plethora of chiq shades. That was until I clicked on my shopping cart to unveil their price. No thank you.

I dashed to my favorite online store Amazon, and hoped Jeff Bezos would cure my dilemma. He did. I found a million different pairs of aviator sunglasses for a fraction of the price. When they came in the mail, I was shocked at how similar they looked to Maverick’s iconic aviators.
