Kirkwood varsity football played against Ritenour high school last Friday, September 28th. With a score of 58-21, the pioneers took another win for their sixth game this fall season. The theme for pep nation was construction, with hundreds of students wearing hard hats and reflective vests filling the student section.
“[My favorite thing about playing football is] spending time with friends, and hanging with them everyday,” Cooper Wise, senior, said. “[Being the quarterback] is a lot of stress sometimes, but I can’t complain because the sport is a lot of fun.”
