Photo Gallery: Kirkwood varsity girls’ volleyball Pink Out Night Oct. 9
The Kirkwood varsity girls’ volleyball team had their annual Pink Out Night Oct. 9 to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research. They lost 2/2 sets to Lafayette High School after a tough fight in two periods.
“The Pink Out game is a really great thing that Kirkwood always does,” Krista Steele, junior, said. “It’s a great way to raise awareness and I think it’s really cool. Volleyball definitely gets a little extra with it because we do so much decorating; we make so many posters, we have the big chair, we go crazy but it’s for a good cause so it’s worth it.”
Your donation will support the student journalists of Kirkwood High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
