Photo Gallery: Beth Szopuski and Hank, the perfect pair
Every morning Beth walked Hank, a big 15 year old pit bull with a gentle soul, and a kind heart. Beth recalls getting Hank at 9 years old from a shelter in Ohio, as a rare out-of-state adoption. From the first day she got him there was a connection, and Hank opened her up to the community around her. She started to walk more with him and in turn got to know her neighbors better. Beth described Hank as, “an easy going sweet, kind, big old giant, not a mean bone in his body.” Unfortunately Hank recently passed away. His presence and energy will be missed dearly, as Hank brought her so much joy, giving her memories that will last a lifetime. “He was a velcro dog, always wanting to be next to you. He would just sit on the couch, jump up and put his head in my lap.”
