Photo Gallery: Halloween Decorations
As Halloween approaches, parents and children wonder how the holiday will be celebrated as Covid shows no signs of stopping. While the holiday will look different from past years, the people of Kirkwood continue the scary spirit by putting up decorations and visiting local pumpkin patches. Yards and houses are covered in skeletons, pumpkins, spiders, and other spooky decors. Sophie Key, sophomore, expresses the idea that these decorations are a creative way to keep the celebration of Halloween alive.
“Halloween this year is obviously going to look a lot different,” she says. “I think it’s super fun that people continue to decorate their houses like every other year for Halloween, even if trick or treaters won’t becoming. It keeps Halloween special, even when covid makes that so difficult.”
