The Haiti fundraiser is collected through metal tins every morning and afternoon.

The French National Honors Society has been working on the Haiti library fundraiser for months, with the goal being to raise enough money to buy a full functioning library of french literature for children who attend the Collège L’Amour du Bon Berger. From March 9th to March 11th, members of the French National Honors Society collected donations before and after school in exchange for pieces of candy. The student who put this together was junior Jack Edwards.

“At times it was tedious or a little awkward standing outside to solicit donations,” said Edwards. “But ultimately all the fundraising was for a great cause; we ended up raising a good amount of money that will go straight towards offering kids in Haiti opportunities that they otherwise would not have had.”
