For 60 years Kirkwood has had the Greentree festival. To kick off this years festival, the annual Greentree parade was held Saturday Sept. 18. Watching the Greentree parade has been a tradition for many Kirkwood families over multiple generations. Some are even in the parade themselves.

“[I grew] up watching [the parade] and seeing all the cool floats,” Lily Stevener, senior, said. “Now, this year, to be in it was something interesting and different.”
