The Girls Varsity Field Hockey Team played a home game on October 6, 2021 against Westminster. The game ended with a score of 3-1, the Kirkwood team excited to have another win.
“I love getting to know my teammates and forming friendships,” Ellie Hubbard, sophomore said. “My favorite part is at the end of the game when the whole team rushes to the goalie box to congratulate each other.”

Mark Borella is a 1984 Kirkwood alum who owns and operates the Seeds of Happiness studio.
"A friend of mine's son was sick, and we knew he wasn't going to make it. I made a handful of these little smiles, [and gave it to the family.] I said maybe you can hold on to [them] until you get your smile back. [The family] said 'it would be very selfish if I didn't tell you to do this for other people.'"
