Photo Gallery: Kirkwood girls varsity basketball vs. Clayton
Varsity girls basketball played against Clayton on Tuesday, Jan. 11 at KHS. Kirkwood beat Clayton with the final source of 53-38. This season the girls basketball team has only lost one game so far.
“We are making strides, we are working to get better every day,” Coach Tritz said. “Best thing about coach basketball is the relationships you build with your players.”

"A friend of mine's son was sick, and we knew he wasn't going to make it. I made a handful of these little smiles, [and gave it to the family.] I said maybe you can hold on to [them] until you get your smile back. [The family] said 'it would be very selfish if I didn't tell you to do this for other people.'"
