Kirkwood’s varsity football team hosted a home game against Hazelwood Central High School on Friday, Sept. 16. At the end of the day, Kirkwood won with a score of 36 to 18 making it their second win of the season. The USA theme was a big hit among the student section.
“I always love when we do USA theme and I just think it’s so fun.” Lauren Berkley, junior on the cheer team said. “I think that was one of pep-nation’s better themes and I think the student section goes all out for that; we get to paint our faces. It’s a good solid theme.”

Mark Borella is a 1984 Kirkwood alum who owns and operates the Seeds of Happiness studio.
"A friend of mine's son was sick, and we knew he wasn't going to make it.
