October has begun, and the Kirkwood Farmer’s Market is ready for Halloween. From pumpkins to decorations, and even the kid’s fall zone, the Farmer’s Market has it all. On October 1oth, Kirkwood Call photographers went to the Farmer’s Market to capture the spirit of autumn. We hope you are just as ready for fall as we are!

Mark Borella is a 1984 Kirkwood alum who owns and operates the Seeds of Happiness studio.
"A friend of mine's son was sick, and we knew he wasn't going to make it. I made a handful of these little smiles, [and gave it to the family.] I said maybe you can hold on to [them] until you get your smile back. [The family] said 'it would be very selfish if I didn't tell you to do this for other people.'"
