Kirkwood Junior, Mary Beth Black, played the role of Audrey in SLUH’s production of Little Shop of Horrors from October 4-7. “It’s a blast to be cast in a play where you’re the only girl” said Black.

"A friend of mine's son was sick, and we knew he wasn't going to make it. I made a handful of these little smiles, [and gave it to the family.] I said maybe you can hold on to [them] until you get your smile back. [The family] said 'it would be very selfish if I didn't tell you to do this for other people.'"
