Kirkwood High School played Fort Osage on Friday, Nov. 23 at the Edward Jones Dome. Kirkwood won with a score of 31-7 becoming state champions. After the win, Luke Beattie (#65), senior, and fellow football players threw up their arms to celebrate. “It was pure excitement that we’ll always be remembered as the first team to win [state],” Beattie said.
