Several KHS students performed in the freshman-sophomore play “She Kills Monsters”, Jan 17-20. In this comedy, a girl reunites with her recently deceased sister in attempts to learn about her geeky side, in turn, leading her on an Dungeons and Dragons-like adventure. From encountering monsters to dark fairies, this black box play is full of action.
“‘She Kills Monsters’ was one of the hardest shows I’ve ever had to do [because] this character required me to be more static and neutral,” Kaleigh Bendoff, sophomore, said. “My favorite part of the whole show was getting to work with a small group of people. Since there’s a small group of us, it was a lot easier to work and have more friendships amongst us. It also rekindled some old friendships that we either never had before, or just drifted away.”
