KHS 2019-2020 top memories
Kirkwood has brought some amazing memories through out the year, from pep rally’s to powder throws, we’ve proved ourselves as one of most enthusiastic schools in St. Louis. Mike Wade, 2022 class principal, described some of his favorite memories from this past year at Kirkwood.
“One of my favorite [memories] was being dressed as the Grinch for our class hallway,” Wade said. “Another [one] of my favorites was when I came into the pep rally [and] I saw my big fat-head. I love the continuity and togetherness of our class, and seeing people envy [us].”

![Seeds of Happiness:
Mark Borella is a 1984 Kirkwood alum who owns and operates the Seeds of Happiness studio.
"A friend of mine's son was sick, and we knew he wasn't going to make it. I made a handful of these little smiles, [and gave it to the family.] I said maybe you can hold on to [them] until you get your smile back. [The family] said 'it would be very selfish if I didn't tell you to do this for other people.'"
