Police Beat: 11/2-11/8
On Monday, November 2, 2015, police received two separate reports of bicycles stolen from the 800 block of West Essex. Both bicycles were left in a bike rack but were not secured by a lock to the rack.
On Thursday, November 5, 2015, police handled a fraud report that occurred in the 1000 block of South Kirkwood Road. The victim’s credit card number was used for a purchase at the business. The victim was still in possession of the credit card.
On Sunday, November 8, 2015, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Argonne for a report of an assault. Two subjects were arrested and issued summons for assaulting a person. The cases were referred to Municipal Court.
Kirkwood Police arrested one adult for shoplifting merchandise from a Kirkwood area business during the week of Monday, 11-2-2015, through Sunday, 11-8-2015. The incident occurred at a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. The case was referred to Municipal Court.11/2
