On Tuesday, Sept. 3, at approximately 11:12 PM, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Wilson for multiple 9-1-1 hang-up calls. Upon arrival, officers determined a domestic assault incident occurred between a girlfriend and boyfriend. At the conclusion of their investigation, the boyfriend was arrested for Domestic Assault 4th Degree, Property Damage, and fugitive charges for St. Louis County and St. Louis City Police Department.

On Wednesday, Sept. 4, at approximately 1:45 AM, officers responded to the area of Sarah and North Taylor for reported suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officers discovered several vehicles had been unlawfully entered. Based on witness’ statements, officers expanded their search, eventually locating the suspect’s occupied vehicle on North Lindbergh, north of the Kirkwood City limits. The occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of stolen property which was linked to the original Kirkwood incidents. All four (4) occupants of the vehicle were arrested for possession of stolen property and possession of controlled substances. The suspects, one (1) adult female, one (1) adult male and two (2) juvenile males do not live in Kirkwood or have any known connection to Kirkwood.

On Wednesday, Sept. 4, at approximately 4:13 AM, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of South Van Buren for a report of a larceny in progress. Kirkwood dispatch informed the responding officers two subjects were inside the reporting party’s vehicle, then exited, and got into another vehicle and left the area. The subjects left the area prior to police arrival.

On Wednesday, Sept. 4, at approximately 6:20 AM, officers began receiving multiple reports of unlocked vehicles unlawfully entered overnight in the 1300 Laven Del, the 500 block of Linwood, the 1100 block of Evans, the 1200 block of Folger, the 600-700 blocks of Kirkshire, the 1000 block of Curran, the 700 block of Lexington, and the 1000 block of Plaza Terrace. Items reported stolen, include: a backpack and books, tools, a handgun, an I-pad, wallets, credit cards, and a purse and contents.

Additionally, on Wednesday Sept. 4, at 6:57 AM, a resident in the 900 block of North Geyer reported the overnight theft of her black in color, 2018 GMC Terrain. The victim stated the vehicle had been left unlocked and the ignition key was in the center console area. The vehicle was entered as stolen AND later recovered by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department around 6:30 PM the dame day. The investigation is ongoing.

On Friday, Sept. 6, a resident reported she was the victim of a phone scam involving her American Express credit card. The victim provided her credit card number to someone she believed was with Microsoft. Thousands of dollars were fraudulently charged to her account at Best Buy and Target before the she realized the error.

On Friday, Sept. 6, a business in the 400 block of South Kirkwood reported a suspect counterfeit $20.00 bill. The reporting officer is investigating.

On Saturday, Sept. 7, at approximately 10:30 AM, a resident in the 700 block of East Monroe reported the overnight theft of two (2) yard blowers and tools from his detached shed.

During the week of Sept. 2 through Sept. 8, one (1) shoplifting case was reported and investigated from a business in the 1000-1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.
