Maddie Bromfman, sophomore, cools down by stretching at the end of practice.

The KHS pole vaulting team meet Thursday, Mar. 8 to practice and continue try-outs. Despite the chilly weather, the athletes continued practice.

“[Practicing in the cold] sucks because your muscles get all tight, then you can’t run and swing as fast, so it’s just hard,” Jason Pool, sophomore, said.

In addition to dealing with inconveniences, Pool said that there will be a notable difference in track season from this year to last.

“[This season] is [also] going to be different because we had Will Drury with us last year, and it was really cool to watch him and analyze his form. I don’t have that this year,” Pool said.
