With the NBA season kicking off October 30th, each team is hopeful to make a run at the championship. The Miami Heat are the defending champions, but the Los Angeles Lakers added two all-stars to their team in Steve Nash and Dwight Howard. The Thunder look to find their way back to the Finals after a loss to the three headed monster in LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat. The Boston Celtics’ ‘big three’ was dis-assembled this offseason with the departure of Ray Allen. Time is running out for the Celtics with aging stars Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett moving into their late 30’s, but they signed veteran Jason Terry in what might be their last run for another title. After all the trades, additions, and departures, here are my top 10 NBA teams going into the season.
4. The San Antonio Spurs
5. The Boston Celtics
6. The Los Angeles Clippers
7. The Indiana Pacers
8. The Denver Nuggets
9. The Philadelphia 76ers
10. The Memphis Grizzlies
