Wednesday, Sept. 21, the varsity girls’ volleyball team played Hazelwood Central and won in two sets. We set out to capture some of the emotions that volleyball players express and feel during the game. “I do get nervous before every game, but once [the game] starts I tune it out,” Abby Gunn, junior said. “I try to stay calm and relaxed because it helps me play better and stay in the moment.”
