On Jan. 12 the Kirkwood boys varsity basketball team played against Webster Groves and lost with the final score being 52-66. Jack Kocher, senior and captain shared his thoughts about the game.
“Although I think we came out pretty slow, but at the end I think our team played pretty well together”

"A friend of mine's son was sick, and we knew he wasn't going to make it. I made a handful of these little smiles, [and gave it to the family.] I said maybe you can hold on to [them] until you get your smile back. [The family] said 'it would be very selfish if I didn't tell you to do this for other people.'"
