STL City SC have already played several games this season, but with the year still very young and the club competing in three, or possibly four, competitions this season, there’s plenty to unpack. If you’re unfamiliar, the team had a stellar first year, winning the Western Conference and having one of the best debut years ever for an expansion club in Major League Soccer (MLS). Unfortunately, they were eliminated from the MLS Cup Playoffs in the first round, to rival Sporting Kansas City.
