Varsity boys’ soccer was the only Pioneer team to take the field, matching up against 2 seed Lafayette in the first round of districts. The contest was tied 0-0 at halftime, but a Lancer goal with 10:40 to go provided all they needed for the victory. Lafayette will move on to play the winner of Vianney vs. Parkway South, thus concluding KHS’ season with a 12-10 record.
