Hockey took the ice, topping Fox in a thrilling 6-5 victory at the barn. After a scoreless first period, Tanner Drake, junior, gave the Pioneers an early 1-0 lead. However, Fox answered three minutes later, only to concede another goal to Drake. Yet, once more, Fox fired back, knotting it up at two apiece. Scores from frosh Landon Fuller and Luke McNab, senior, doubled up Fox, making it 4-2 at the end of two. Mitchell Drexler added another at the start of the third period, yet Fox scored three unanswered to even it up at 5-5. With 40 seconds left, Drake completed his hatty and gave the ‘Neers their second straight win. KHS’ next game is Monday against Lafayette, at Queeny Ice Rink.
