The Kirkwood Call

Chloe Hooker, editor-in-chief

Interests:  Irish dance, art, food and typography

Favorite food: Ice cream

Favorite quote: "All of us who do creative work, we get into it because we have good taste. But there is this gap. For the first couple years you make stuff, it’s just not that good. ...It is only by going through a volume of work that you will close that gap, and your work will be as good as your ambitions. It’s gonna take awhile. It’s normal to take awhile. You’ve just gotta fight your way through." -Ira Glass

What does the 100th year of The Call mean to you?: The 100th year is very important to me since it is my senior year and it is so cool to be able to celebrate it and be grateful for all of the experiences the Call has given me.

If you had to be another staffer, who would you be and why?: I would be Sha'Diya because she's a super talented writer and she has beautiful hair.
