Photo Gallery: Images of Ferguson Jan. 13
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch photographers who recorded the Ferguson protesting came to Kirkwood High Schools journalism building to share their stories Jan. 13.
The audience welcomes the photographers as they're introduced.
They showed a variety of photos and videos, telling the stories behind each one. The lecture hall was filled with more than 100 students and adults eager to hear their stories and see the work they had done on the nights of all the protests.

Mark Borella is a 1984 Kirkwood alum who owns and operates the Seeds of Happiness studio.
"A friend of mine's son was sick, and we knew he wasn't going to make it. I made a handful of these little smiles, [and gave it to the family.] I said maybe you can hold on to [them] until you get your smile back. [The family] said 'it would be very selfish if I didn't tell you to do this for other people.'"
