Tanner Polk’s memorial
Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of KHS student, Tanner Polk’s death. Polk would have graduated with the class of 2016 and to honor his remembrance, a balloon release was held after school on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Rachel Bielicke, senior, and more of Polk’s close friends gathered together to write notes to their friend and tie to their balloons.
“[The release of the balloons] signifies that we are moving on, but still holding him in our hearts and we will never completely let him go,” Bielicke said. “He will always be with us.”
