Resume for the tournament:
With Selection Sunday or the release of this year’s basketball bracket less than a week away the probability of Mizzou making the tournament is high and very certain. Since there is a small chance they may not I created a resume for the team heading into Sunday. This resume will contain the reasons why the 22-9 Tigers are deserving of a good seed.
The numbers never lie:
-3rd in the nation with 41.1 rebounds a game
-15th in the nation in points per game with an average of 77.2 points
-Good wins versus Florida and Illinois
-5th in the SEC in the teams first year in the conference
-Six players average more than ten points a game
These are the five top reasons in my opinion why the Tigers are deserving of an eight or nine seed in this years tournament. As I’ve said early, watch the Tigers to make to the second or third round of this years tournament.
