According to Makayla Archambeault, editor-in-chief of the Lafayette Lancer Feed, there is widespread frustration with high numbers of students required to quarantine.

Online/Hybrid/In-person: Students choose whether to be online or in-person. If they are exposed to COVID-19, quarantine is required and decided on an individual basis.

Weekly schedule: School days Monday-Friday. Classes begin at 8:28 a.m., ending at 1:10 p.m. for upperclassmen and 1:20 p.m. for underclassmen.

Timeline of events: Rockwood initially planned to return to in-person instruction at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, but modified their plan to an online start in August. In October, the district returned to in-person learning.

Student feedback: According to Makayla Archambeault, editor-in-chief of the Lancer Feed, there is widespread frustration with high numbers of students required to quarantine. The district is also experiencing a shortage of in-person staff due to positive tests and quarantine requirements.
