“Being on Call in high school gave me confidence, technical skills and a place to call home base, all things that made the experience well worth it. However, almost four years removed, I can say it gave me a whole lot more than that; lifelong friends, memories I cherish and the chance to be part of something bigger than myself before I was 18 years old (something one shouldn’t take for granted!). High school gave me a solid foundation for the “real world,” but SJ is where I learned how to use that foundation to get to where I am today.”
