Hummus and veggies
What you’ll need:
- Hummus
- Carrots, celery, bell peppers, etc.
If you’re looking for something to snack on that won’t leave you feeling bloated in the morning, this is the way to go. Just grab some veggies and hummus out of the fridge, then dip, crunch, repeat. It’s pretty simple, but if your family isn’t the type to have hummus on hand, it gets a little more complicated. To make your own, mix together chickpeas, lemon juice, olive oil and a garlic clove in a food processor. You might want to prepare this before midnight if you don’t want to wake anyone up. Add cumin, paprika and tahini for that signature taste (or leave them out, it’s your hummus), then pair with whatever veggies you have on hand.
